Statement

As an artist of multi-ethnic descent, my artistic production is heavily rooted in connection to family, heritage, place, and displacement. As a woman in the 21st century world, my ethos includes social and political acknowledgement, awareness, and resistance. I believe in the importance of inserting ones marginalized perspective into narratives traditionally and historically not told, and rewriting these “truths” through art and social practice.
