Judith Briand (she/her) is a Graphic Designer born and raised in Maine and based in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Currently completing her BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Concentration in New Media and Design, she is skilled in all Adobe Creative Cloud programs, printmaking techniques and processes, three-dimensional design, and has foundational knowledge of web design including HTML, CSS, WordPress, P5js, and principles of UX/ UI design. She has a decade of experience doing freelance designs for local clients and businesses while seeking further collaborative opportunities through personal projects and internships. She has recently written and designed an artist book exploring her ethnic roots – archiving, investigating, and digitally collaging family artifacts, letters, and photos from generational photo albums, paralleling and accompanied by written accounts and historical anecdotes from the practice of oral storytelling. She is currently working on several publication-based projects, from books, to maps, to posters, both in personal endeavors and for her internships with Greensboro Project Space and Gatewood Gallery in Greensboro, North Carolina.
