Using imagery to illustrate, initiate a conversation about the destruction of native ecosystems, lands, and the depletion of natural resources/non-renewable resources through capitalist infrastructure and agricultural systems in America. Showing the impact and environmental effects of climate change and the consequences of mining natural resources on sacred lands/nature, challenging the ideas of ownership and responsibility. Construction of the final composition was completed through the application of Lightroom and Photoshop to alter found photographs from publications to reveal truths that a single image could not.
